Summary

Description

Insignia of this decoration are often to be found on German auctions. The Order is not mentioned in Jörg Nimmergut catalogue (numbers 10881091) of German "Orden und Ehrenzeichen".ed, 2002. What is it? What is this "Limburg"? I found it! It was founded by the counts of Limburg in the Holy Roman Empire. My own drawing of a Commanders Cross and "Steckkreuz". Vergissing rechtgezet; er staan in werkelijkheid geen letters op het borstkruis van deze orde maar wel op het juweel dat om de hals wordt gedragen.
