Deutsch: Die Gemeinde ist 1972 durch Vereinigung von Hirschlanden, Rosenberg mit eingemeindetem Bronnacker und Sindolsheim entstanden. Das Wappen enthält mit der Rose ein „redendes" Bild für den Ortsnamen. Andererseits nimmt es Symbole der Wappen der Ortsteile auf, die die historischen Herrschaftsverhältnisse vor 1802/06 dokumentieren. Die Rose begegnet in der Helmzier des Wappens der Herren von Rosenberg, der Ortsherren von Bronnacker, Hirschlanden und Rosenberg bis ins 17. Jahrhundert, und im Wappen von Grafschaft und Fürstentum Wertheim, wozu diese drei Orte seit dem 17. beziehungsweise 18. Jahrhundert gehörten. Mit dem Rad ist Sindolsheim als einst kurmainzisches Lehen der Rüdt von Gollenberg repräsentiert. Die Tingierung entspricht den badischen Farben. Wappen und Flagge wurden am 16. August 1976 vom Landratsamt verliehen. |
