English: Front of a Gujarati astrolabe, dated April 1644, made for a Manirama, by an unknown artisan. Calibrated for Jodhpur, a later owner, Līlānātha, indicates it's also usable in Nepal. Inscriptions in Devanagari script. Acquired, 1986, Royal Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh.
