This file is from Wikimedia Commons and may be used by other projects. The description on its file description page there is shown below.

This map image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{vector version available|new image name}}.
It is recommended to name the SVG file “Ottoman Empire Administrative Divisions.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.

Summary

Description
English: A fake map showing the Ottoman Empire and its dependencies, including its administrative divisions, in 1899 CE (1317 Hijri). For example, map shows the islands of Corfu and Paxos as being part of the Janina Vilayet. These islands were not part of the Ottoman Empire, but were under Venetian, then French, then British rule. Most importantly, since 1864 they were part of the Kingdom of Greece.
