Magyar: Eger vár ostroma, 1552-ben, Vízkelety Béla (1825–1864) festménye képeslapon. Vahot Imre tervei szerint Vízkelety Béla és Franz Kollarz által készített Eger ostromát ábrázoló litográfia. Egy sorozat eleme, amelynek első történeti kompozícióját Vahot Imre a Napkelet műlapjaként jelenteti meg 1857-ben. A Hunyadiház diadalünnepét ezután még évente egy históriai kompozíció követi: 1858-ban a Mátyás az igazságos, 1859-ben a Báthory István bevonulása végül 1860-ban az Eger várának hősi megvédése. A kőrajzokból Vahot csak utólag kerekít históriai ciklust, amikor 1860-ban “Magyar Történeti Képcsarnok” címen könyv alakban is kiadja a Vizkelety Béla ábrázolásaihoz kapcsolódó szövegeket. |
