Deutsch: Innenansicht Richtung Empore des Stephansdoms in der österreichischen Bundeshauptstadt Wien.
Das gotische dreischiffige Langhaus wurde über einer Vorgängerkirche im 15. Jahrhundert errichtet. Die Orgel auf der Westempore mit ursprünglich vier Manualen, etwa 125 Registern und rund 10.000 Pfeifen wurde von 1956 bis 1960 durch die Orgelbaufirma Johann M. Kauffmann angefertigt und 2017 bis 2020 durch Rieger Orgelbau teilweise erneuert sowie auf 5 Manuale und 130 Register erweitert. Die Kanzel ist ein Meisterwerk der spätgotischen Plastik aus Breitenbrunner Kalksandstein und wurde Anfang des 16. Jahrhunderts realisiert. |
